The Isle Puertasaurus

Discovered back in 2005 the Puertasaurus is only known from a few pieces of vertebrae and femur‚ but we do know from these remains that it was an incredibly large animal․․ Early estimations of this giant gave it a length of 40 meters （131 feet） and a weight of 50 tons‚ which would have made it longest and one of the heaviest dinosaurs known （excluding speculative species such as Bruhathkayosaurus）․ Puertasaurus has been re-estimated at a more conservative size of 28 meters （91 feet） ․
